Participants of the crochet club are of all skill levels. As their first project, they made squares to learn new stitches and practice their skills. Once all the squares were finished they were sewn together into lap sized afghans that are being donated to Residential Hospice.

Celebrating 50 years

The Upper Allen Woman’s Club was organized and federated on January 18, 1971, by a group of dedicated women from the community as a Junior Club. In 1976, the club dropped its junior status. It is now a General Federated Women’s Club with membership that is open to any woman over 18 years of age.
