Incoming President Beth O'Marr (right) presented Past-President Stacey Swain with an engraved brick on behalf of her two years as President of the Upper Allen Woman's Club (2018-2020). The brick will be placed in the walkway along the playground at Upper Allen Township's Friendship Park.




Beth has been a member of Upper Allen Woman's Club GFWC since January 2015. Beth is a retired teacher from the Boiling Springs High School. She and her husband, Chuck, are parents to Gregg and Erin and grandparents to four lovely granddaughters. Beth enjoys volunteering in her community, travel, reading, and spending time with friends.




Vicki has been a member of the UAWC since 2015. She has service as a Giant Card co-chair, the Pink Hands of Hope Daffodil Sale, and the 2016-2018 Vice-President. Vicki is retired from York Suburban School District. She and her husband Garson are parents to Natalie and Larissa and grandparents to Chloe and Charlotte. Vicki enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, watching movies and volunteering at her granddaughter's elementary school.




Carmen joined Upper Allen Woman's Club in 2015. She has chaired the Bon-Ton Community Days fundraiser and the 15K for K9s project. Now a residential real estate agent, she enjoyed a 30-year career in municipal recreation and parks, serving as the Director of West Shore Recreation Commission for 25. She and her husband Jeff enjoy travel, Orioles baseball, visiting family and caring for their pug, Ripken.



Corresponding Secretary

For the past 5 years, Patty has been a member of the Upper Allen’s Women’s Club. In addition to attending and working the fashion shows, craft shows and bake sales, meeting new club members have been wonderful perks to joining UAWC. After 38 years in education, Patty retired from the South Middleton School District where she served 15 years as Superintendent.  Since retiring, Patty has worked as Acting Superintendent in the Daniel Boone, Camp Hill, and West York School Districts filling the gap between the outgoing superintendent and the start of the newly appointed superintendent. Patty resides in Upper Allen Township and loves spending time with her two “practically perfect” grandchildren Violet (7.5 years) and Louie (5 years), and her son Brian and his wife Lauren who also reside in Upper Allen Township. Lastly, Patty is a Trustee on the Board of the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library and enjoys attending the Harrisburg Symphony Pops Concert Series.




Linda joined club in 2015 and has co-chaired Cookies with Mrs. Claus and the Chinese Auction at the Craft Shows. Linda moved to the Mechanicsburg area with her husband John in 2013. They have one daughter, Carrie and son-in-law Chris. She also has four grandchildren, Logan, Grace, Jack and an adopted grandson, Lane. Linda has been retired since 2012. She enjoys reading and counted cross stitch in her spare time and also playing with her special Havanese friend, Cooper.



Recording Secretary

Robyn has been a member of the Upper Allen Woman’s Club for five years and currently serves as the Recording Secretary. Robyn retired in 2010 after 34 years with IBM. She enjoys reading, knitting and traveling with her husband Ed. In addition, she enjoys spending her free time with her children, step-children, their spouses and with her grandchildren.
